Fairview discovers beauty with new Red Stiletto Studios

When you’re a master stylist, color specialist, experienced hair extension artist, certified makeup artist and photographer with 25 years experience in the beauty industry, you might wonder what else is there to do in life?

The answer was easy for Tia Boner, “I have dreamed of one day being in a position to combine all the things that I do into one place.”

Tia finally acted on her dream and made it a reality with the opening of Red Stiletto Studios at 7106 Old Nashville Road, located behind Bank of America in the former Fairview Auto Parts.

Hosting the official ribbon-cutting ceremony on December 1, owners Mathew and Tia Boner are excited to offer Fairview the opportunity to discover and capture their beauty.

Red Stiletto Studios is a full-service hair salon, photography studio, and event-planning business. They offer hair colors, cuts, extensions, wedding photography, and a variety of portrait sessions including glamour, intimate, senior and children. Years of experience have also allowed Tia to offer Fairview its first-ever event-planning business.

Residents of Fairview for over nine years, the couple actually shared a dream. In business in Brentwood for nine, years, Tia remarked, “It was our dream to move to our community and open our business here.”

She and her daughter Sterling Ortiz are the two employees of the business and work by appointment only, in studio or on location. Whatever your needs may be, Tia says, “Red Stiletto Studios offers a service that will always meet your expectations.”

Tia’s experience and education also reaches beyond the continental U.S. She has been an educator for three European hair color companies, Wella Studios, Keune Hair Cosmetics and Tocco Magico, traveling to Italy to learn directly from the company leaders. She is also a certified hair graft and extension expert, trained in five different techniques of hair lengthening and thickening.

Tia explained, “Throughout the years, I have continued to strive to be better at all my trades…I will continue to thrive in making not only Red Stiletto Studios a pillar in its field, but myself as well.”

In the make-up industry, she received certification through Performance Studios at Nashville State, as well as many other hands-on training classes, working the film, print and video industry.

A film photographer for over 20 years who received her training from NYCP for digital, Tia describes her style of photography as non-traditional, and unique. She added, “So that your portraits are one of a kind specific to your tastes and needs.”

“Red Stiletto Studios holds a reputation of having a loyal relationship with clients founded on their availability, integrity and world class skills,” shared Tia, who believes successful businesses are built on those qualities. Another key to their success according to Tia is their “big city service at affordable prices.”
